The International Viersel Diamond Waterski Race is an organization of the Viersel Waterski Club. This annual event is "The MAJOR Waterski Race" of the Region II / Europe - Africa & Middle East. The 1998-edition will be the 14th Diamond Race since the start in 1984. The 1995 edition was not named "Diamond Race" due to the 1995 World Titles Waterski Racing held in Belgium.



Waterski Racing Formula 1. Never seen this before ? Join us and be there on May 31st 1998 for this incredible event. Never seen a boat with more horsepower than you expect ? Yes, twin 300 H.P. outboards or one time 1.200 H.P. inboard motors are "normal" things at the Viersel Competition site.




We expect the world's best skiers - as usual. Last edition's winner Darren Kirkland will have to face "the creme de la creme" of the Waterski Racing - world. Will World-champion and 1996 Diamond Race winner Wayne Mawer come over from Australia for a third time ? All skiers are welcome on the Viersel ground / water. The world's best organized Waterski Race wants you to compete !
